Fear gives birth to stories. Anger gives birth to protests. And silence gives birth to monsters. Petru sau Zece fără un sfert is a protest text, aimed against the medical system and the indifference the Romanian State shows toward its citizens. It’s another alarm bell sounded, even though there is (a great) possibility it will also be covered up. We see how a procedural flaw creates an avalanche of unfortunate events for a simple family, following an accident that occurred in the summer of 2016.
